Must Do #1 — Vizcaya Museum & Gardens

House and Garden Views

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, formerly known as Villa Vizcaya is a beautiful estate located right in the heart of Miami. The estate offers pristine garden and bay views, this allows for excellent photo opportunities for you and the whole family. Tickets start at $25 for adults and $10 for children and offer different packages such as photoshoot opportunities and private events. They are open daily from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, excluding Tuesdays, really allowing you to immerse yourself into the true Vizcaya experience. This is one of my favorite places to go, whether it be to relax and take in the scenery, or take beautiful photos, Vizcaya never disappoints.

Crandon Park Views

Crandon Park, is an urban park that can be located right off the coast of Miami, on an island called Key Biscayne. The park offers both beach and garden aspects that really make it stand out from its competitors. The park is open everyday from sunrise to sunset and the only fees are for parking, $5 to $7 per day depending on the time of week. On top of the beach and garden benefits the park also offers a restaurant and bike rentals. The bike rentals go from single riders up to 8 riders, this ensures a good time for the whole family. I keep finding myself here, there is really so much it offers, and no matter what you will have a good time.

Strawberry Moon Views

A pool day at Strawberry Moon is just what the doctor prescribed. Located out on Miami Beach it is the perfect spot for pictures, drinks, music, you name it. The hours of this location are from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, allowing you to get a full day of peaceful sun. This venue allows for great bar bites as well and is minutes walking distance from the beach. There is no fee when trying to get into this venue, the only cost would be the food and drinks that can be bought at the bar or restaurant. It is always a great day when I come here, and that is why it is a must do!

Puttshack Views

Puttshack, located in the heart of Brickell, Brickell City Centre, is a great spot to go out with a group of friends, the family, or even as a date spot. The location offers three mini golf areas and around 13 holes each to maximize your experience. Reservations can be made for multiple games as well as lunch or diner and drinks as you eat and play. It’s almost like a Dave and Busters, except just one game and more high class, being located in Brickell. Tickets start at $18 but can vary slightly on the day and time you come in at. Puttshack is one of my favorite go tos, good games and food.

Bill Bagg’s State Park Views

Bill Bagg’s Cape Florida State Park, is a jaw dropping beach park that can be found at the tip of Key Biscayne. The park is located only a few miles from Crandon beach, which I had previously mentioned offers a much different landscape. This park gives both beach and mangrove habitats allowing visitors to immerse themselves in that. It also offers a light house which provides historical value as it is one of the oldest structures in Miami. The park is open everyday from 8:00 am til sundown and cost $8 per vehicle. There are some other prices depending if you want to rent a pavilion or camp. This is truly my favorite beach in Miami and must be done!
